Bicycle EMS Team

CareFlite has a commitment to community service. In 1993, the Advanced Life Support (ALS) Bicycle Team was established to lend aid and offer quick response to emergencies during community events. The bike team is available to community organizations, events, corporations, concerts and other activities.

The Bike team consists of a paramedic and EMT and carries all ALS equipment and an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

The CareFlite Bicycle Team follows the training guidelines developed by the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA).

A helicopter and ambulance may also be requested for presence at community events. For more information or to make a request, call 972-339-4200.
