CareFlite Education Outreach
The CareFlite Education/Quality Management Department is committed to providing
high-quality educational opportunities for its employees, first responders and other
health care professionals in the communities we serve. The department is staffed
by experienced professionals who are recognized by many national organizations,
and able to provide specialized continuing education for your organization and manage
all your educational needs.
Kelly Wolfe , CCEMT-P, is CareFlite's Manager of Education and Quality Management.
CareFlite's Education Outreach program offers monthly courses to meet the continuing
education requirements of the Texas Department of Health (TDH) and the Commission
on the Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS).
Courses offered by CareFlite Education Outreach include:
- ACLS, BTLS, CPR, PEPP, PALS
- Nursing and paramedic CE
- And many others
CareFlite Education Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Course Description:
Professional course designed to provide knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent,
resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or
cardiopulmonary arrest. This course is appropriate for ER personnel, physicians,
nurses, paramedics. Course completion card provided.
Course Prerequisites:
PALS Initial - Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider.
PALS Renewal - Current BLS HCP card AND Current PALS card.

CareFlite Education Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Course Description:
Professional course designed to provide knowledge and skills to evaluate adult V-Fib/
V-Tach arrests. This course is appropriate for ER personnel, physicians, nurses,
paramedics. Course completion card provided.
Course Prerequisites:
ACLS Initial - Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider.
ACLS Renewal - Current BLS HCP card AND Current ACLS card

CareFlite Education Basic Life Support (BLS)
Course Description:
The course providers learners with the skills of CPR for all age groups to include
one and two person CPR, relief of choking in the responsive victims for all age
groups, use of barrier device, use of bag valve mask, and use of an AED. This course
is appropriate for ER personnel, physicians, nurses, paramedics. This course is
appropriate for participants with an expired HCP card and first time participants.
Participants receive a completion card. Course completion card provided.
