Ground Services

CareFlite’s ground service specializes in both emergent and non-emergent patient transfers to DFW-area hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, private residences and other health care facilities. CareFlite is one of the largest providers of non-emergent care in the Dallas area and serves the residents of Johnson County, Texas as the primary 911 provider.

• Experienced ambulance crew, including paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMT)
• Advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) levels of care
• Critical care patient transport with a medical crew comprised of a registered nurse, paramedic and EMT
• Transport of neonatal patients between hospitals, with the receiving hospital’s specialized team
• Supports CareFlite’s fixed wing program by transporting patients and medical teams from the airport to the receiving hospital
• Wheelchair van service
